Wellington Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found lying on the ground outside his Maupuia home this morning.
Detective Senior Sergeant Scott Miller, Wellington CIB, said neighbours discovered the man's body about 7am this morning. It is not yet known if the death is suspicious as the man could have slipped and fallen.
Police are examining the scene as part of their investigation into the circumstances of the death.
The man's name will not be released until next of kin are informed.
