Police hunt woman wanted for fraud

Wanganui Police are currently looking for Sandra Mary Wallace.

The 53-year-old Maori woman who originates from Wanganui has a warrant out for her arrest in relation to four fraud charges, and is currently being investigated for numerous other fraud complaints. The offences are primarily credit card and cheque fraud around the country. She is an experienced and transient fraudster who appears well-presented, well-spoken and gives the impression of being trusted and genuine.

Wallace has a number of aliases including Margaret May Lulu Steele, Sandra Lake, Sandra Martin and Sandra Heke.

She has associates in Wanganui, Auckland, Tokoroa, Hawkes Bay and Wellington, although is known to be transient in other areas.
