Appeal for witnesses to crash on SH73 this morning

Police are appealing for any witnesses to a head-on crash that occurred just after 9.30am this morning on SH73 Yaldhurst Road to please come forward.  One of the two drivers is being treated in Christchurch Hospital for abrasions and a possible leg injury.

Police are particularly interested in talking to anyone who may have seen a white car travelling west towards Steadman Road in front of one of the trucks.  If you were driving a white car along Yaldhurst near that time Police would also ask that you make contact with them.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing and Police are asking anyone who may have any information to contact them on 03 363 7400.
