At about 3.30pm today a body was located in bush behind Wilcox Grove, Naenae.
The cause of death is not yet known and a Post Mortem is expected to take place tomorrow.
A formal identification is yet to be completed and as such the identity of the deceased is not yet confirmed.
Police suspect the deceased may be Lesley Kreibel a 55-year-old male who was reported missing in November 2013.
His family have been informed but as stated the identity of the deceased has not been confirmed.
