Canterbury Police execute search warrants

This morning Canterbury Police have executed a number of search warrants at several residential addresses in Christchurch.

The search warrants were in relation to the dairy robbery in Templeton on Monday 5 September 2016.

Due to a firearm used in the incident, Canterbury Armed Offenders Squad were involved in the search warrants.

So far, an 18 year old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the aggravated robbery.

He will appear in the Christchurch District Court this afternoon.

Police are still actively seeking other offenders in connection with this robbery and there may be more search warrants executed this afternoon.
