Police have today charged a 20 year-old male in relation to the incident that occured at the Tautuku Lodge yesterday, Sunday 8 November, with a number of charges including unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful discharge of a firearm, and burglary.
He is due to appear in the Dunedin District Court tomorrow.
As the matter is now before the courts, police are unable to make any further comment.
