Police investigating a fatal crash in Turangi are appealing to anyone with photos or video taken at the crash scene to come forward.
19-year-old Orlando Bell died when the Subaru Impreza he was in collided with a tree on Te Rangi Tautahanga Road at approximately 4pm on Monday, 2 November. The driver of the vehicle and front seat passenger, both aged 17, remain in hospital.
The cause of the crash is still being investigated and police have been made aware that some still photos or moving video may have been captured at the scene by members of the public. Police are keen to view any images or footage as they may assist in piecing together the circumstances of the crash. Images can be emailed to Stephen.maddren@police.govt.nz. Alternatively, anyone with images can go into Turangi Police Station and Police will assist.
