Dunedin Police investigate sexual assault

Dunedin Police are investigating a reported sexual assault of a female as she was walking on Frederick Street at around 1.50am on Sunday the 7 June 2015.

The victim was assaulted by a man that followed her on foot for some distance.

The male was described as in his late 20’s, medium build, light short hair, and with stubble on his face.

A passing motorist yelled out to the offender whilst the assault was taking place and police would like to identify and speak with the occupant(s) of this vehicle or anyone else who was in the area at the time.
