Dunedin police are investigating a hit and run crash on the corner of Bay View Road and King Edwards Street, Saint Kilda that occurred at about 8.45am this morning.
Police have received a report of a dark red Ford Falcon, aged early 90's, having reversed into a stationary DX mail motorbike.
The vehicle was reportedly driven by a female who has turned left into King Edward Street heading in towards South Dunedin CBD.
The rider has suffered brusing as a result of the crash.
Police are appealing for anybody that may have witnessed the crash, or the driver of the vehicle, to contact Dunedin police on 03 4714800 or witnesses can pass information on anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
