Around 8am this morning a vehicle crashed into a parked truck and trailer unit on Wattle Farm Road in Wattle Downs.
The passenger of the vehicle has died at the scene. The driver has been taken to Middlemore Hospital as a precaution.
The Counties Manukau Serious Crash Unit is investigating and the road will be closed for some time.
There is no further information at this stage and no details of the deceased will be released until next of kin have been notified.
