Gisborne Police investigating after a man assaulted a woman in her home have found the vehicle allegedly stolen from the property.
The incident happened around 11:30pm on Friday 7 September.
Information received from the public led Police to recover the blue Mazda in Gisborne today, however Police are still seeking the man responsible.
He is described as being in his early 20s and approximately 5 foot 7.
