Great day of cricket for final Wellington pool match

Wellington Police are applauding the public as the South African cricket team took out the final ICC Cricket World Cup pool game being held at Wellington Regional Stadium this evening.

Operation Commander Inspector Brett Amas says Police are pleased with the crowd behaviour.  

"The crowd was treated to a great day of cricket where everyone was able to have a safe and enjoyable time."­­

"We are looking forward to holding the quarterfinal next week here in Wellington and will be hoping for an excellent atmosphere for both the public and the teams."
