Hamilton Police are appealing for assistance in locating 26 year old Amy Jayne Opetaia. Ms Opetaia is wanted in relation to a parole recall warrant.
In February 2016 Ms Opetaia was released from prison after serving a term of imprisonment for serious violence offences including kidnapping and aggravated robbery. Ms Opetaia has breached the conditions of her release and a parole recall warrant has subsequently been issued.
Police enquiries to date suggest Ms Opetaia may be in the Auckland area.
Detective Sergeant Andre Kavanagh would like to hear from anyone who can provide any information regarding the current whereabouts of Ms Opetaia.
