Hawke’s Bay Police are investigating robbery at a Four-Square store in Guppy Road, Greenmeadows, Napier, this morning.
A male has entered the rear of the store shortly after 6am and has confronted the owner before stealing cash from the till. The offender had with him a weapon which was not used during the robbery.
The male has then ran back to his vehicle which was parked on Guppy Road and left the area in a south direction towards Meeanee Road.
The alleged offender vehicle is described as a brownish older style hatchback four door in the shape of an older style Ford Telstar or Laser.
Police are asking for any sightings of this vehicle and its occupant/s. Anyone with information is asked to contact Hawke’s Bay Police on (06) 831 0700 or Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.
