Hawke's Bay Police investigating aggravated robbery

Hawke’s Bay Police want to hear from anyone who may have information about the aggravated robbery of the Horse & Hound Café and Bar.

At about 10.30pm on Saturday 2 July a male has gone to the Horse & Hound Café & Bar, Karamu Road Hastings and confronted two staff with a knife.

After obtaining cash the male forced both victims into a vehicle, with one of the victims driving.  The male instructed the victim to drive to Frederick Street. In the vicinity of 133 Frederick Street the male has demanded the victim stop the car, he has got out and run off through properties.

If any residents in the area find clothing that doesn’t belong to them on their property they should contact Police.
