Three people have been taken to hospital following an incident in Mangere overnight.
At 4.30am Police were called to Yates Road in Mangere to reports of people fighting in the street and that a person had been shot.
When Police arrived they found two people with injuries consistent with a firearm. A third had left the scene, but later presented himself at hospital with a leg injury.
At this stage the three patients are believed to have serious to moderate injuries, their injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
The offender/s has not yet been identified or located.
No further information is available at this stage and a further update will be provided when more information has been confirmed.
