Avondale Police are investigating a spate of night time roadside thefts during which a significant amount of road work equipment including road cones and road work signage have been stolen from road work areas.
The majority of the stolen property has either MLNZ or TIL engraved or stamped on it.
Police would like to hear from anyone who has seen any suspicious activity at night around the road works being conducted in the vicinity of the intersections listed below, between August 15 and 18, 2015:
Dexter Avenue and Mewburn Avenue, Mount Eden;
Mount Albert Road and New North Road, Mt Albert;
Mount Albert Road and Highland Road, Mt Albert.
