Canterbury Police are investigating an allegation that a man in his 20’s was assaulted and kidnapped late yesterday afternoon (13 July 2015).
Detective Senior Sergeant David Harvey says “Police believe that the victim of this alleged incident was taken from one residential address in eastern Christchurch to another and received minor facial injuries during an assault.”
Canterbury Police investigations into the incident are continuing and a number of people are helping Police with their inquiries.
