Media Advisory – announcement of new Police body armour

On Thursday 31 January Commissioner of Police Mike Bush will announce the rollout of new Police body armour.
 
Mr Bush will be announcing the commercial partnership to deliver new body armour to all Police officers. The new body armour will be demonstrated by Mr Bush and several Police staff.
 
 
The details for the announcement are as follows:
 
Thursday 31 January 10am (media to meet at reception at 9.40am)
 
North Shore Policing Centre
 
52 Parkway Drive, Rosedale, North Shore
 
There is room for a limited number of media. If you are interested in attending please RSVP to media@police.govt.nz by 6pm today, Wednesday 30 January.
 
Parking in the area can be in short supply and media are encouraged to allow sufficient time to arrive.
