The Kapiti Mana Police Pay Parade will be held tomorrow (Wednesday) and media is invited to attend.
Police will march from the Kapiti Police Station along Rimu Road to the Kapiti Coast District Council.
Included among the award recipients are Constable Andy Alexander who is to receive a Police Bronze Merit Award and Detective Vanessa Knyn who is to receive a Police Silver Merit Award for their work preventing a young woman from taking her own life .
Constables Murray Cook and Katy Thompson are to receive a Commissioner's Commendation for bravery, professionalism and good judgement in resolving a dangerous family violence incident.
Media is asked to RSVP by 4pm on Tuesday 8 December indicating their intention to attend the ceremony by email to Melissa.Weddell@police.govt.nz.
