Media Advisory - Outcome of police investigation into GCSB intercepts

Media are invited to hear the outcome of the investigation which followed a complaint by Dr Russel Norman MP in October 2012 alleging illegality of interceptions by GCSB in relation to Mr Kim Dotcom and others.

Detective Superintendent Peter Read will read a short statement at Police National Headquarters today at 4.00pm

Media please note the ongoing court processes in relation to Mr Dotcom, plus the classified nature of much of this investigation, means Mr Read will not take questions afterwards and he is unable to be interviewed.

This will be the one opportunity to obtain audio and visuals from police in relation to the statement.
