UPDATE - VICTIM NAMED
Fatal House Fire, Dimock Street, Titahi Bay
Police can now name the victim of the fatal overnight house fire in Dimock Street, Titahi Bay, PORIRUA.
He was Kamira RANGIMOEAKAU, 57 year old male from Titahi Bay. (known as Kam RANGI)
Police, ESR scientist and Fire Safety Officers have spent the day at the address conducting a scene examination. At this stage police do not consider the fire to be suspicious.
A post mortem on the deceased's body is expected to be conducted tomorrow morning - no further comment will be made until after the results are known and next of kin advised.
