Missing 11 year old Female from Gisborne Located
The 11 year old girl who was the subject of an extensive sea and land search this afternoon at Gisborne has been found safe and well after she went missing near the mouth of the Turanganui River opposite Waikane Park.
Police would like to thank the local coastguard, surf lifesaving and the Gisborne Rescue helicopter for their assistance.
There is no further information at this time.
