1 min read

Waikato Police and the family of missing woman Kim Richmond are calling for help from the public.
Today Detective Senior Sergeant Ross Patterson of the Waikato West CIB and Ms Richmond’s parents have said any sightings or knowledge of where Ms Richmond has gone will help police at this stage.
It is believed Ms Richmond headed in a southerly direction from her Wharepapa South farm.  Police have searched all rural roads around this area and have used the Police Eagle helicopter around the Arohena area. The Police boat from Hamilton was used in the Waikato River during the search over the last few days since she’s been missing from early Sunday morning.
Ms Richmond’s parents have made a plea for her to make contact.  “We are concerned about Kim, it’s uncharacteristic of her to go missing without contacting her family, we would love for her to make contact with us, or if anyone has seen her or knows where she is, can they please let us know. We haven’t heard or seen her since early Sunday morning and this is very unusual.”
Kim is 42-year-old woman and is described as being of thin build, about 162 cm tall with an olive complexion and dark hair.
Ms Richmond has a hearing disability and at the time of her disappearance she was wearing a Highlanders rugby jersey, blue jeans, brown leather jacket and brown leather boots.
She was driving left home driving her silver coloured 2014 Ford Ranger utility, registration number HKD553.

Anyone with information about Ms Richmond or her car can contact Detective Sergeant Paul Van Der Zee of the Te Awamutu CIB on 07 8720100 or information can be left anonymously with Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
