Police appeal from information following robbery, Porirua

Attribute to Detective Sergeant Stephen Wescott

Police are investigating a robbery that occurred on Sunday 24 December at a shop on Mungavin Avenue, Porirua.

At around 2pm a man entered the store and punched the manager behind the counter causing him to fall to the ground, and has then stolen an amount of cash. 

The victim suffered moderate injuries to his face, and Police are providing support to the man.

Police have made a number of inquiries including a scene examination and are now appealing for the information from the public.

The man, as pictured, was wearing a red t-shirt and black jeans with a red bandana tucked in to the waistline.

The man has a number of tattoos on his arms and curly hair.
