Police arrest two men in relation to Dargaville aggravated robbery

Police investigating an aggravated robbery in Dargaville have arrested two men.

The aggravated robbery occurred on Tuesday August 11 at the Hilltop Dairy on Awakino Road.
Police Armed Offenders Squad and a team comprising of police staff from Dargaville, Whangarei and Ruawai searched a dwelling near Dargaville this morning and arrested two Dargaville men aged 21 and 27 years.

Police recovered the weapon, believed to have been used in the aggravated robbery,  at the men's address, .

Both men will appear in Whangarei District Court charged with the aggravated robbery and other offences.

Detective Sergeant Jonathan Tier says the news of the arrests has been a great relief for the victim of the aggravated robbery whose life has been severely affected by this traumatic event.
