Police investigate aggravated robbery in Masterton

Police are investigating the aggravated robbery of two women in Masterton last night.
 
The robbery took place at around 8.30pm, when the women were parked in their car on Roberts Road, near the intersection with French Street.  
 
Two men, who the women had met earlier in the evening in relation to the purchase of a motor vehicle, pointed a firearm at the women and robbed them of cash.
 
The two men are described as Caucasian, aged in their 20s, and wearing dark clothing.  The two men left the scene on foot.
 
Police are appealing for any sightings of the two men, or the women's car (a silver Mitsubishi Mirage), in the Roberts Road/French Street area last night.
