Police are investigating the death of a man in the car park of a Kaitaia supermarket.
About 8.30am today Police were called to Pak'nSave after the body of the man was located by the supermarket’s staff. Ambulance also attended the scene.
Ten police are now carrying out a scene examination and the supermarket has been closed.
Police are not revealing any details around the circumstances or cause of death while investigation is in its early stages.
