Police investigating following damage to Bluff Police Station

1 min read

Police are calling for support from the community and information after a number of windows were smashed at the Bluff Police Station.

It is believed the damage, which saw eight windows smashed, occurred between 5pm and 8pm this evening. While the windows were smashed entry was not gained to the Police Station and the building is now secure again.

“It is disappointing that people would choose to attack the Police Station in this manner. We are here to serve the community and help people be safe and feel safe,” said Inspector Mike Bowman.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity on Barrow Street around the Bluff Police Station this evening. Information can be shared by calling Bluff Police Station on 03 212 8844 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
