Canterbury Police would like to thank the members of the public who contacted them after an appeal on Wednesday (27 January 2016) to locate an 11 year old boy who had run away from his home in Waipara.
Senior Constable Andrew MacFarlane says Andre was located last night at a residential property in Christchurch city and taken back to his parents.
Canterbury Police and other support agencies are working with his family.
