Police have arrested one man after an incident at a rural property in the Lower Kaimai Ranges in Bay of Plenty District.
Police attended the property to execute an arrest warrant this morning and the Armed Offenders Squad were called to assist after officers were threatened on arrival.
The Fire Service also attended the incident after Police discovered a small fire in one of the buildings on the property.
The matter was resolved without incident and occupants of the property are assisting Police with their enquiries.
