Canterbury Police can now name the victim of the fatal crash on an unsealed section of School Road approximately 2km south of Fairlie township yesterday morning (10 January 2015). He was 44 year Glen CANTLON from Fairlie.
The death has been referred to the Coroner.
Mr CANTLON’s family are understandably upset at their tragic loss. A family spokesperson says “We are being supported by family and friends and ask that the media respect our request for privacy at this time”
The crash is understood to have occurred at approximately 6.50am yesterday (10 January 2015) when Mr CANTLON’s green Ford Falcon ute veered off the road and collided with a ditch.
Police investigations into the crash are continuing.
