1 min read

Levin police are seeking the public's help in relation to the robbery of the Queen Street Food Market on Tuesday 14 June.

The offender was dressed in dark clothing and stole cash and cigarettes.  He left the dairy on foot and was carrying a bag.  The lone male shop attendant was not injured during the robbery.

Police would like to hear from anyone who was in or near the dairy at around 6.10pm that day, or anyone who saw someone acting suspiciously in that area.  In particular, Police would like to speak to the drivers of two cars that were seen parked near the dairy (in George Street) at the time of the robbery and left soon after.

Anyone with information that could assist the investigation is asked to call Detective Constable Bernie O'Brien on 06 210 2200.  Information can also be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
