Police seek information on vehicle used in robbery

Whangarei Police are appealing for information in relation to the aggravated robbery of a Whangarei business yesterday afternoon.

At 10.40am two offenders entered the Metal Man NZ Limited on Rewa Rewa Road and presented a firearm at an employee in the business.   The offenders then left with several thousand dollars.

In particular Police would like to hear about any sightings of a Grey Nissan Terrano, registration number BPZ926 believed to have been used in the aggravated robbery.  The vehicle was found by police on South End Avenue not far from where the robbery occurred.

It had been stolen from the Forum North Carpark in the Whangarei CBD around midday on Saturday 12th December.
