Police seek witnesses to dairy robbery

Levin police are seeking the public’s help in relation to a robbery of a dairy on Tuesday 14 June 2016.

Police ask that anyone who was in or near the Queen Street Food Market around 6:10pm who saw anyone acting suspiciously to come forward. In particular police want to hear from the drivers of two cars that were seen near the dairy parked in George Street at the time of the incident and left soon after.

The offender was dressed in dark clothing and stole cash and cigarettes. He left on foot and was carrying a bag.

The lone male shop attendant was not hurt.
