Police seeking information for home invasion robbery in Invercargill.

Invercargill Police are currently investigating a home invasion near the intersection of Centre and Conyers Streets at approximately 10.45pm on Sunday, 21 February 2016.

The occupants of the house were in the lounge when two males, dressed in dark clothing with their faces covered, entered the address carrying weapons.

The occupants have been assaulted by the offenders and received head injuries which required hospital treatment.

Both males have been released from hospital and are assisting police with the investigation.

Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the Centre and Conyers Street area around 10.45pm last Sunday night and saw anything suspicious, and ask them to please contact the Invercargill Police on (03) 211 0400.

Police would also like to hear from anyone who may know the identities of the two males who entered the address.

Alternatively, information can also be provided anonymously via the organisation Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
