Canterbury Police would like to thank the 100+ SAR volunteers who helped with the search for a man reported missing in Bottle Lake Plantation yesterday (18 September 2015).
The search concluded this afternoon pending the formal identification of the body of a man located in the forest.
The death has been referred to the Coroner. Formal identification and the process to inform next of kin has yet to be completed.
