Incident at Invercargill school - Update 3

Invercargill Police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances leading up to a ten year-old boy sustaining a serious head injury.

The boy remains in a critical condition at Dunedin Hospital after undergoing surgery last night. He has been placed in an induced coma and is currently in the ICU.

Police will continue working with the family, school and the Ministry of Education while staff conduct their enquiries.
