Porirua Aggravated Robbery

Kapiti Mana CIB are currently investigating the Aggravated Robbery of the Mobil Service Station on Kenepuru Drive, Porirua.

At approximately 6.20am on Sunday 24th May a male entered the service station brandishing a knife and demanding the attendant hand over the money.  

Detective Sergeant Shane Rongonui said “This was a distressing experience for the female attendant, who was present at the time in the garage. She has been offered support from our Victim Support.”

Police would not say how much money the offender got away with.

The male offender is described as:

Male Maoi/Polynesian

Early 20’s

Slim build, medium height

Black jacket over black hoodie

Black cap with white writing in front

Distinctive black and white, patterned gloves

Grey track pants

Black sneakers

“Someone, somewhere will recognise the offender. We need those people to do the right thing, and tell us who the offender is,” Mr Rongonui said.
