Police are continuing to search for 34-year-old Ross Douglas Bremner in Waikato.

Efforts are concentrated in the Otorohanga area following the death of a 60-year-old woman and the critical wounding of a 64-year-old man.

“Ross Bremner should not be approached. If you see him, call 111 immediately,” says Detective Senior Sergeant Ross Patterson.

“People in the Otorohanga area should expect to see members of the AOS.

“They are being used as part of the Police investigation and have visited a number of properties in an attempt to find Mr Bremner.

“He is a person of interest in our inquiry. We seek to find him in relation to the incident which occurred on Tuesday evening,” says Mr Patterson.

“We would appreciate any information on the whereabouts of Ross Bremner.

“Today, in addition to gathering information, staff continue to examine the scene where the female was found deceased.”

Investigators also welcome sightings of a 2003 model Holden Vectra, registration BGP561, which Mr Bremner may have used.

A post-mortem on the woman found dead at the scene is expected to commence in Auckland later today.

The 64-year-old wounded man remains in hospital.
