Waitemata Police are currently executing a search warrant at a property on Ocean View Drive in Hillcrest.
Equipment and instruments that are used to make methamphetamine have been found hidden inside a container on the property.
Specialist Police Clan Lab staff are in attendance and Police can reassure the immediate neighbourhood that there is no methamphetamine cooking process underway and they are safe.
At this stage no one has been detained or arrested and enquiries are ongoing.
