Two people will appear in the North Shore District Court later today charged with manufacturing methamphetamine.

The 32-year-old male and 25-year-old female were arrested this morning in relation to a suspected clan lab in a residential apartment above industrial units in Bute Rd, Browns Bay.

Forensic examinations of the scene are still underway.

Detective Sergeant Callum McNeill says forensic examinations of the scene are still underway and it remains closed off.

“We know this drug causes widespread harm to our communities and Police will continue to target clan labs to disrupt the methamphetamine trade,” says Detective Sergeant McNeill.
