The Police National Dive Team will arrive in Christchurch tomorrow to assist in the search for two people unaccounted for after a car went into a lake this evening.
It happened off Westlake Drive around 5:45pm.
Police staff and other emergency services have been in the area and also in the lake tonight, working to establish what happened and also speaking to witnesses.
A scene guard will be in place overnight.
