A 29-year-old man is due in Gisborne District Court today in relation to a mass disorder event on Saturday night, which resulted in two people deceased and others badly injured.
He faces a charge of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
The homicide investigation continues today with Police continuing to make inquiries and provide reassurance in the local area.
