At about 10.00am this morning Police and other emergency services attended a vehicle crash involving two vehicles. The crash occurred on a section of the Paeroa-Kopu Road near Thames.
As a result of the crash four people have been taken to a local Hosiptal for treatment.
There has been a road closure put in palce blocking both north and south bound lanes on the Paeroa Kopu Road just north of Omahu Valley Road.
There has been no time limit given for the closures.
Police appreciate the patience of motorists whilst the scene is processed and cleared.
