Witnesses sought after crash in Hawke's Bay yesterday

Police are appealing for witnesses to a crash that occurred on SH5 near Napier yesterday, Monday, 26 September.

The crash happened at about 9.30am near Ellis Wallace Road, Eskdale.  It appears from initial enquires that the southbound vehicle may have lost control and crossed the centreline into the path of the other vehicle.  The occupants of the northbound vehicle received serious injuries.

These injuries are not life threatening but are serious. 

Police would like to hear from anybody who may have been following or observed the southbound vehicle - registration number XI8465.  This car is a 1998 green Toyota Prado station wagon.
