FIU/ACAMS Conference 2026

On behalf of the New Zealand Financial Intelligence Unit (NZFIU), in partnership with the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS), we are pleased to invite you to attend the 2026 Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) Conference.

The Conference will be held from Tuesday 3 November to Thursday 5 November at Tākina Wellington Convention and Exhibition Centre and will include the Supervisor Workshop delivered by the new single supervisor, the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA).

This year we are introducing two new features. First, the inaugural Case Study Symposium presented by New Zealand Police specialists on Tuesday 3 November, ahead of the main conference programme on Wednesday and Thursday. Second, the lunchtime Eat & Engage Series. These are interactive sessions with our keynote speakers Andy Marsh and Melinda Murray, providing attendees with the opportunity for more direct engagement and access to their expert insights. Places are very limited – registration will be made available via invitation to registered conference attendees.

This year’s theme, From Intelligence to Impact: Turning Financial Data into Disruption, will be explored by domestic and international experts from government and the private sector. Sessions will examine emerging challenges, share practical insights, and showcase innovative approaches to disrupting financial crime. The Conference also provides valuable opportunities to strengthen existing relationships and build new connections across the AML/CFT community.

We are pleased to once again offer a hybrid format for the main conference. Please note the Case Study Symposium and Eat & Engage sessions will not be available virtually.
