Around 3.20pm on Tuesday 25 May 2004 on State Highway 2 at Te Mahanga, 15 minutes south of Hastings, five vehicles were involved in a road crash.
As a result, three people were transported by ambulance to Hawkes Bay Regional Hospital.
State Highway 2 was closed for 2¼ hours whilst Police completed a scene examination.
Enquiries are continuing and Police need your assistance. Any witnesses to the crash are urged to contact the Hastings Police. We are particularly interested in sightings of two vehicles, a black Honda and red Toyota.
