Trapped climbers rescued

The two young men trapped in the mountains walked off the rescuing helicopter a few minutes ago. Sgt Peter Summerfield says there was a window, they sent the helicopter up and were successful.

"I’ve just seen them both walk off and they’ll now be assessed by paramedics," he says. "We thought we heard they were off on the radio but it was not clear and until they arrived we didn’t know for sure."

Sgt Summerfield will be talking to the men when they have been seen by paramedics.
