A suburban bar at a shopping centre on Opawa Road was robbed this morning.
About 9.30am a male entered the Bowl and Jack Tavern at the corner of Raycroft Street, near the large pet shop and Brougham Street, and demanded money.
The bar was not yet open and Detective Sergeant Mark Keane believes he entered through a rear exit. He was given a sum and left the same way. He is described as wearing a balaclava, sun glasses and dark clothing.
